The data comes to the software application at every 15 minutes. The software updates energy calculations and billing every 30 minutes. The software has payment collection modules with offline and online (payment gateway) features. The software calculates balance on real time basis and sends user alerts on low balance. On nil balance (modered by credit limit), the supply is disconnected with an alert to the consumers. Once the payment is made and the balance become positive, the software sends command to the meter to restore power supply.
